Petani 3 Desa di Kediri Gelar Sedekah Bumi, Dihadiri Wakil Ketua DPR RI

Kediri (TintaSantri.com) – Hundreds of farmers from three villages in Blaru Village, Krecek Village and Karang Tengah Village, Kediri Regency held the Earth Alms ceremony, on Friday (5/8/2022). The event was a form of gratitude for the farmers for the blessings of Allah SWT with the provision of fertile agricultural land.

The earth alms ceremony itself begins, at 14.30 WIB. The ceremony begins with reciting tahlil and praying together. Then it ended with the ceremony of cutting the cone and distributing the vegetable cone from the farm.

Those who attended were members of the Kediri Community Prosperous Farmers Association (PMSBK). The number reached 600 people. He came from three villages, namely Blaru Village, Krecek Village and Karang Tenga Village.

Present at this event were Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission VI Anggia Ermarini, Deputy Regent of Kediri Dewi Maria Ulfa, Forkopimcam Badas, officials from the Blaru, Krecek and Karang Tengah Village Governments, as well as community leaders. In her speech, Deputy Regent Dewi Maria Ulfa said that this agricultural land has been regulated and stated in the Regional Regulation on RT/RW of Kediri Regency. Where, can not switch functions.

Separately, Arifin, Chairman of the PMSBK Association, explained the association’s efforts in fighting for the livelihood of the farming community on the land.

“Alhamdulillah, on June 30, 2022, according to the statement letter from the Badas sub-district head that in Badas sub-district there was zero mining of excavation C, both illegal and legal, or illegal or official sand mining,” said Arifin.

Then, on July 27, 2022, added Arifin, the association’s management had representatives from the Kediri Regency Government who supported PSMBK’s hopes. In fact, the land will become agricultural land as stated in the Kediri Regency Perda.

In addition, the development of permanent agricultural irrigation has been supported since 2014 by the Kediri Regency Government.

“Representatives of the Kediri Regency Government also gave directions to the association to communicate with BPN and this agricultural land to be made TORA (land for agrarian reform) according to the President’s program, Mr. Jokowi,” he added.

“The farmer association has also set up a command post on ex-excavated land as a symbol that the land belongs to the community,” closed Arifin.

For information, in the last year the farmers were involved in a conflict with the mining company PT GBS. The dispute arose after the company’s mining business permit (IUP) was rejected by the community.

So far, farmers have been working on the land for generations. There are at least 600 families (KK) or thousands of people who depend on this land for their lives, not including the farm laborers and people looking for animal feed there. [nm/but]
